Sorry for the 'Niner fans, but that looks like a great choice. Two teams who still have a big following in the UK and an intriguing cross-conference match-up (at this distance).

    Edit: confirmed by NFLUK

Why didn't Krafty have the Pats out there again this year?

Amazing news. Both teams are well supported, especially the 49ers. London will go nuts for both teams...unlike the Bucs this year :D

Can't wait to get my ticket!

Good game. Hope the 49ers improve a little so this ends up being a great matchup to show off.

Hopefully the 2nd game that's announced soon will be better, I can't see this one being a very good game at all really tbh.

UMMMM The Broncos are so much better than the Niners at this time??

Last game I saw of the Broncs was getting thier asses handed to them at home against a bottom dwelling team and Cassel at the helm.

if both teams show improvement from their 2009 seasons where they both had quick starts, this game could be very good indeed

I'm not sure if I'll bother this year. I've done all of the others and get my Football fix over the Summer with the Kent Exiles.

It's a lot of money to find (£60-90) for a ticket at an OK stadium with dire food and alcohol. The pubs are rammed and getting back home is a pain in the backside.

    I'll probably relent later... :(

For a west coast or mountain time zone team, are we talking a 12 hour flight??? At least for an east coast team it is a little bit longer than a cross country flight....They'll need the bye after that....

Heresy...I lived in Cardiff for 3 years, the Millenium is a fantastic place for a rugby game. The atomosphere is greater than anything you'll ever hear at Wembley.

Wembley Stadium itself is a great venue, but the fans are never that noisy, it's ridiculously expensive and there's far too many corporates.

13 hours from San Francisco, 9 1/2 hours from Denver. Whereas both the Bucs and Patriots spent only a couple of days in the UK, both teams will need to fly out at the beginning of the week to accommodate any jet lag - just as the Chargers did.

Got to agree with Nonentity- I much prefer the Millenium Stadium and Twickenham. I find Wembley lacking in something...
