Would it not have made more sense to get lasik surgery prior to the start of training camp?
A person in his position can certainly afford it. This isn't about vanity; it is about taking a needless risk at being unable to read needed information at a critical moment, or about having to take unnecessary extra time to do so.
Some people who have eye problems simply are not good candidates for LASIK. I know b/c, at least in the past, I've been one of them.
