I'm stoked. I'll probably have a one day old infant by then too.

Nah... seriously, congratulations! I remember watching the draft a few years back with our 3 month old asleep in my lap.
Now, are you talking about the draft, or are you and the Missus hoping birth a Bobby Boucher type LB? Either way, I'm with ya, but if it's the fruit of your loins you're talking about, I'd think you'd hope for a slightly higher Wonderlic. (I mean, the kid can't play foosball forever!)BJ_McWild said:Thanks much T-shirt!!! Exciting times.
My hope is that we go linebacker and get some Bobby Boucher type...!
mama says, mama says, foosball is the devil!

:agree: pricelessstcjones said:it's like waking up on xmas morning as a kid and hoping to find that red ryder BB gun under the tree, and finding a book on "How to buy and sell stocks" instead..........it isn't attractive, bums you out a little, but pays HUGE dividends later.

That is my analogy on most of the pats drafts in recent years. All my friends who are fans of other teams, are jumping around and celebrating because their team has just signed a big name, flashy player........while BB chooses some guy that NO ONE has on their boards at all....and are sent scrambling to try to find tape on the guy and leaves.....the fan saying "what the #$% was that pick all about??".....but every year, I am more impressed with BB/SP's brilliant drafting skills and although it can kind of be a boring draft in many ways.......almost all of their picks pan out great.........GO PATS!!!!

Your first? If so, your life will be changed forever ... if you're the diligent dad i take you to be.
Your second? Then it will make having one child ... seem like being childless.
Either way, you'll appreciate the long pauses between picks ... to catch up some of your own missing sleep.
Fabulous, fabulous!
