#3 - either of those scenarios plus the league has reason to suspect someone on the coaching staff knew.

I'm not saying I 100% think they're guilty, just that if they are and the league had something beyond what was in the report... it's the most logical explanation for why Kraft suddenly backed down today.

I can't think of any other sensible reason why he would... he HAD to know the backlash that would be coming to him.

Which one commute the laws of nature so that the deflated balls measured the exact psi they would have if they hadn't been deflated.

Please stop with the justifications that maybe the NFL has some secret damaging information that they are holding back to sway slow Bob. Please stop. the NFL has no problem leaking everything and leaking things made up as long as they are damaging to the Pats. They leaked false info that 11 out of 12 balls were 2 psi under. They wrote a letter telling the pats one ball was 10.1. Again false. If they had anything else it would be out there.
