Brandon Graham.............screw prototypes, the kid can play and provides a spark and play making ability the Patriots haven't had for a long time.

You saved me some typing......Ditto.

Odrick......has the measurables

Im going to switch it up a bit...

Odrick. Get your Dline shored up. Then go get my joker and sam in rd 2. D rebuild over.

You are all wrong, none of these pick's last name start with an M or W

"You are all wrong, none of these pick's last name start with an M or W"

Dan Williams, McClain, Morgan, Weatherspoon, Mays, Mathews, Kyle Wilson, D. Williams, McCluster, A. McCoy, Wooten.

On the field, Carlos Dunlap. The guy is practically a Willie McGinest clone. I would want a very thorough interview first though.

As for all the Brandon Graham talk, I'm a pretty big UMich fan. A few years ago myself and Michigan Dave (where's he been these days???) probably posted each 100 times begging the Pats to draft Lamar Woodley. Graham is basically a Woodley who doesn't hit as hard. I just don't see it happening.

If the Patriots stay at 22....

Jared Odrick.

1. First round value.

2. Fills a need.

3. Fits the system.

4. High character player.

BUT...

.... like last year when Oher was sitting in the Patriot's spot for the taking, they will have another offensive tackle like Trent Williams or Anthony Davis (maybe even Odrick or Graham) and will decide to trade back with another team at the top of the second round.

See these scenarios....

A.) The Lions take Suh, but still need an left tackle. The Packer select after the Patriots and are sure to take the best left tackle on the board and the Cowboys and Colts are candidates to take the top talent along the offensive line prior to the Lions pick. Do the Lions hope that a tackle falls to them or get aggressive and move up?

B.) the Ravens, our first round trading partner, see a need to replace Edwards and a guy like Kindle et al is at 22.... do the Pats move down with Odrick on the board?

With the 22nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, The New England Patriots select.......Jared Odrick, DL, Penn State.

If we stay at 22 who is your best bet and smartest choice to help improve this team.

I'm going Sergio Kindle. Final Answer.

I say Hughes, final answer, with 1 caveat:

IF we trade down, say for both of KC's #2's,
the pick at 22 is Bruce Campbell (or, if Washington,
Buffalo or Cleveland move up, it's Tim Tebow).

The Pats, I suspect, will cross their fingers,
at that point, and take Norwood or Witten.

Caveat aside, it's Hughes. I'm confident.

I'll only add that I'm more of the mind that
the Pats move up in round 2 (see Detroit)
to secure a player, rather than move back.
