Brian McIntyre, the fan who runs a football blog
that scooped a lot of the p/s picks ...
and who self-effacingly "boasts" a 48% accuracy rating
against the spread ... sees this in his bowl of entrails:

Here are my (sure to be wrong) predictions for the 2009 NFL Season.

    ....

    AFC East: New England Patriots
    AFC North: Pittsburgh Steelers
    AFC South: Indianapolis Colts
    AFC West: San Diego Chargers

AFC Wild Cards: New York Jets, Tennessee Titans

    ....

    AFC Playoff Seeds

    1. Pittsburgh
    2. San Diego
    3. Indianapolis
    4. New England
    5. NY Jets
    6. Tennessee

    ....

AFC Championship Game: New England over Indianapolis
NFC Championship Game: NY Giants over Chicago

Super Bowl XLIV Winner: New England
Super Bowl XLIV MVP: Randy Moss

    Individual Awards

NFL MVP: Tom Brady, QB, New England
NFL Offensive Player of the Year: Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans
NFL Defensive Player of the Year: LaMarr Woodley, LB, Pittsburgh
NFL Coach of the Year: Mike Tomlin, Pittsburgh
NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year: LeSean McCoy, RB, Philadelphia
NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year: Aaron Curry, LB, Seattle
NFL Comeback Player of the Year: Tom Brady, QB, New England

With the schedule Pittsburgh has (AFC West, NFC North, Browns 2x, Bengals 2x, no Pats, no Colts) and San Diego has (6-0 in that division), I wouldn't doubt that the Steelers and Chargers get the top two seeds.

I say we are at least the 3 seed over Indy, and that will be decided on Nov 15th. ;)
