Excuse me, but what did you guys watch last year?
The biggest problem last year was defense. We lost a lot of talented veterans on defense, which had more to do with it than anyone's leadership.
.
The Pats had no ability to stop anyones passing game.
Well come on now, we did stop someone's passing game. Does Leigh Bodden ring any bells?
Oh yeah you guys stopped a rookie qb that all of you think is horrible. Must prove that your pass defense is top notch.
You said we couldn't stop ANYONE's passing game. miDeuce never said the pass defense was top notch.
Now continue on believing last year's struggles will continue into this year, it only adds to the enjoyment when we win the division again

OK, well just edit your original post that we couldn't stop any GOOD passing teams. And I don't think Sanchez is horrible, I mean he's going 15-1 in this year right?

I think what Brady is saying has a slightly different interpretation to it than what has been said. I think what he is saying is that since CW and McD(and I don't think McD was as good a coach as CW) left, there really hasn't been an offensive coach to properly coach the offense. Just calling the plays is not enough. From a coaching viewpoint, last year was a big void. So what TB is saying is that there really is an offensive coach, it's BB and we(the team) need to recognize that and pay attention to him. And I think also that TB is saying to BB that you are our offensive coach and we will pay attention to you so coach us. That offensive coaching void needs to be filled!!

The Pats had no ability to stop better passing games. None of your OLB's scare anyone, TBC is a nice player but he's limited. Wilfork is a great player, but against the pass he really doesn't bring much to the table.
The NFL is a passing league and the only way to stop it is to pressure the qb. I'm sure you guys watched the superbowl against the Giants. The Pats were clearly the better team that season but the giants found a way to disrupt Brady and it totally changed your passing game.
I still don't see where the Pats are getting pressure on the opposing teams qb and thats the biggest problem they have.
