I'm sure most of us are still taking the game very seriously, I just hope no one is expecting an easy win for the Pats. The Jets offense was absolutely terrible but our defense is not on par with that of the Ravens. Let's not assume we will also be able to hold them to 6 first downs. They should be able to move the ball a bit better. The key will be doing what the Ravens did, hold them to FGs. The Jets D looked fantastic, even after Jenkins went down. It will be a real test for our offense. We'll need great pass protection and great play from our WRs. If they have a chance to make a play, they need to make it. Our RBs will need to pick up some tough yards from time to time. We're not going to average 5 yards per carry but if we need a yard, they need to get it. I doubt we see 15 penalties from the Jets again so we need to play sound football in all three phases. We can't count on free yards. It's going to be a really tough test. The Jets know that starting 0-2 with 2 conference and home losses will put them in hole, not to mention start a firestorm from the media and fans. I hope the Pats can get out to a quick start and stay in control of the game. That will go a long way in getting the win.
