a shame ........
There are plenty of know-it-alls in this forum who are pathetictly hostile against other members calling them childish and stuff like this and it is an embarrassment to Patriots fans nationwide but the only thing you can do is just brush it off like flicking lint or dandruff off your shoulder and pay no attention to those who disagree and insult - Your post was not childish and if people thought it was,who fu(king cares what they think anyway?.
Great post.
I take it you are not one of the "real" Patriot fans. There are only about 7 - 9 "real" Patriot fans on the site. They ruin it for the rest of us.
Its to bad Tom will never get to play in his hometown.
Yeah,I get a kick out some some of these brain mongers who say because I say Cassel blows doggie nuts that I am not a real fan.
Well in my 30 years of watching and rooting for the team I must have spent $10,000 on Patriots merchandise much of which was spent during the lean years in the 90s so the naysayers against me can always kiss my (insert body part here).
Belichick screwed this season by not preparing to do in the offseason what he did years ago (Flutie,Huard,Testeverde) and get a professional athlete to take over QB if Brady got hurt and this year that had high potential to be another serious SB run looks like the price will be paid for not having a vet QB and a High Schooler as starter at the most important position in professional football
Of course I will still have hopes of a championship like all others because each and every Patriots season is a huge part of my yearly existence, but 99% of those SB hopes died in 5 minutes of the very first game.
I never thought that Brady would get hurt, I am surprised that Belichick felt the same way.

Well, let's not count it out just yet. The current schedule is only set to run through the end of next season. It is possible there'll be a change that lets it happen. Of course, it's also possible Brady will still be QB in 2016.
Who says Brady won't retire as a 49er in about 5 years from now?,It makes for an intriguing situation down the road
Thanks. But the thought of Brady in another uniform is not helping. Although the thought of Brady out of uniform does help.
Brady grew up in San fran. A big 49ers fan. Unless Brady is still a Patriot in 2016 he will never get a chance to play on his" home field" as a pro.I bet he was looking forward to playing there.
I'm going to that game and was looking forward to seeing Brady in Candlestick... and was looking forward to the epic hookup of Brady and Moss... but I guess I'll have to wait now. Either I'll have to take a trip to Boston some time or venture into the Black Hole when they play Oakland in Oakland.
Brady getting hurt really dampened the mood from some of his friends, family and fans in the Bay. I'm going with a guy that went to school with Brady and being on the West coast, I don't get too many chances to see the Pats/Brady play too much. Its all good though... hope the recovery goes well.
