    9-4
    4th in the AFC.
    STILL Leading the division

That looks pretty solid to me,This season has had it's ups and downs. We are struggling a bit and we are nearing the time that the trolls will come out of hiding to say that we are washed up,done,no longer worthy of being in the playoffs. This is all garbage. We are still one of the MOST elite teams in the National Football League.I myself,am hoping that we take a W in these last three games. The Playoff Race is getting pretty tight and with our record what it is the Jets are on our tails. But,Looking at the success that we have had this year.I think we will be able to hold them off.GO PATRIOTS!

The last three games are as winnable as any on the schedule, but not if the Patriots keep playing how they have the last four weeks, particularly last week. I think they all know that, though, so there's hope. I think 12-4 is possible, but my original prediction of 11-5 seems very possible as well. Jacksonville is playing very good football (in spurts, true) this season.

As long as we play better in the playoffs than we have the last four weeks, I think we have a shot. Nice post, 4, go Pats.

Here's how it's all going to go down, so JUST GET ON THE BANDWAGON NOW:

We're going to kill the Texans this weekend.

We're going to make a statement against the Jags, much like the Bucs game last year.

The final game of the season may be largely meaningless, but it will still be a win.

That means we'll have won 6 out of our last 7 heading into the playoffs with a home game.

So, everyone, do yourself a favor and get on the bandwagon now before it's too late. A month from now everyone will be saying "I'd never bet against Belichick and Brady in a playoff game".

Yeah that's it. Put the 9 wins in the bank, but it's no accident they're cutting players, naming Captains and Brady's calling guys out.

I imagine they'll be some intense practices with some serious "coaching up" for Caldwell and Gaffney.

Each team has a personality and this one's talented but sluggish right now.

I for one am hoping for a Pats victory and a Minnesota victory. That would lock up the AFCE and a playoff spot.

Then they go to Jax. Jax is awesome at home, but terrible on the road. NFL channel showed this schizophenic personalirty by saying Jax is scoring 27 and giving up 8.5 at home. And scoring in the low teens and giving up points in the low twenties on the road. With a playoff appearance locked up, BB & staff can play the Jax game without showing very much.

    Why ??

Probably because they will have Jax at home as the WC in the first round of the playoffs. They can save the good stuff till then, and also rest guys who have some bumps and bruises to let them heal before the playoffs.

The Titans game can be another get well game, a win if necessary, but a rest game prior to the playoffs.

Some of the walking wounded should be back by then Rodney, Wilfork, and Watson. By then maybe Bruschi and Hobbs will have their casts off, so they can actually catch an INT.

Gaffney and Caldwell will have another few games to get acclimated.
Maybe they might even find a Punter too!

There certainly is still hope for this year however we need to rely more on running the ball and defensive line putting pressure on the QB which has not been accomplished enough this year.

We need to remember we have a 35 year old WR who is leading the team in receptions which means we are in trouble if we continue to try and win thru the air - We do not have a good enough trio of receivers to win 3 in a row in the playoffs if we continue to abandon the run.

With a better run to pass ratio - say Run 70% - Pass 30% and with a steady flow of QB pressure on the other side we have a chance but the game plan the way it is now must change and in a hurry because this team if it continues to game plan like it has been lately will have no chance to advance far when the playoffs begin.

Our strengths this year need to be brought forth and that is Running the ball and Defensive line pressure.
