Thanskgiviing games are good for the teams involved IMO. They have a short week against another team with a short week then have a long week against a team with a normal week (wouldn't surprise me it that's us). Also,Colts at Falcons,Thanksgiving nite.

We want the Dolts to get all the MNF games possible, those are the tough ones when your opponent has a day to a day and a half more than you do.

We'll play the Colts before Thanksgiving. Flex scheduling takes into effect during Week 10. Thanksgiving falls on Week 12. NBC wants Pats-Colts and will likely show it right before flex scheduling takes into effect so CBS can't protect it. The game most likely will be played in early November just like last year.
IIRC, aren't there a handful of games that CAN be protected once FLEX starts??

We probably need a different thread for this, but anyway they actually announced a bunch more games than this.

AWESOME - I don't kn ow about the rest of you, but I cannot handle Patriots on Turkey day.
I have enough to do with hosting 25 people, turkey, family, logisitics of it all to also try to plan it out pefectly so that the game is also front and center.
Hell, I damn near was divorced over a very ugly turkey day many many years ago (1984 -- 20-17 loss) when Pats played in Dallas. The game was lost when sure handed Craig James fumbled and cost us the game.
Don't forget Tony Eason getting sacked 10 times. I'm not exagerating. Look it up.
Eason was a tough SOB at Illinois, then became infamous for turtling when the pressure was on in the NFL. I think it was this game that was the transition.

Chris
