His defenses have always been good, even without much talent. I never said he was a good GM, just a good coach.
Those offenses have been terrible. Lacking in OL talent for much of his tenure...receiver talent is a joke, running backs or TE?
I have no idea what the GM was thinking when putting that offense together.

"Duct tape and old men?" Or, you know, a Top 2 defensive line. So stop.
This current Jets team has the aforementioned dominant D-line, good LB corps, a decent OL, decent receivers, a decent TE, and one very good RB. If your argument is that Rex can only win when he has superior talent, you're admitting that he can't coach guys up or develop them ... that he's not actually a good coach. Jesus.
