I am a McDaniels basher...and even I have to tip my cap to him after yesterday. The draws to Faulk from the shotgun are fine with me. When they do them on third down (which I don't think they did yesterday), it means they feel throwing for the first and risking a turnover is too big of a risk, and they try to set up a field goal or an easier punt.
The hand-offs to Faulk with Cassel under center against a DL as good as the Jets' is nonsensical, though.
But in all, the Pats moved the ball effortlessly all day. They couldn't get in the end zone the first two drives and the Heath Evans dive on 4th down isn't a good call, IMO, but other than that, the Jets had no answer for the Pats offense.
And this Jets defense is pretty legitimate, it is a 7-3 team after all. 500+ yards and 31 points against one of the league's better teams and you are complaining about the guy who helped put those points up. Wow.
