I was at camp and saw that pass. I wish I had the eyes of some of the folks here who diagnose formations. I can only tell you what I saw. My initial reaction was the ball was slightly overthrown. I don't know if Jackson could have sprinted underneath it. He had his man beat, the ball was either off his fingertips or past his fingers. It's not like he dropped it.Any reason to use the term "burst" to explain a guy getting open and not catching the pass?
I fully expect a RB or WR to blow up on the field someday.
"Wow, great burst!"
I'm not apologizing for the guy, I believe that's what I saw. Not sure if he could have made a diving catch or leaped up for it, but it seemed to me he was in full stride and stretched out at the time the ball came down.
All in all, he didn't look that good today, to my eyes, though he did make some catches and dropped others.
