Lighten down?
I think that was something like, "Do The Don't Screw It Up".Isn't there a song by Archie Bell and the Drells, "Do the Lighten Up"?????
My vote for worst thread title of the year. Something like "Jags are capable" would suffice nicely.

What are your thoughts now? Happy Hannukah. Did you watch the game? Obviously from your comments you felt like the Pats would destroy the Jags.....what do you think went wrong? Any weaknesses you have noticed that will affect the postseason? thx
Ummm....Dude....obviously you missed the game....We BARELY squeeked by the WORST team in the league.....WAKE UP SON!!!!!

Surprised this thread hasn't been sent to the practice squad yet ... it's horrible.
Why? Many people here and elsewhere in Boston Media are talking about how the Pats are going to destroy this weak, 2-13 team......and lo and behold WE BARELY beat this team....Now what do you have to say on it? Just an off day? Pats dealing with injuries and had NO ONE to plug in there? Tell us WHY the Pats struggled to win so badly against one of, if not THE worst team in the NFL today....What was it? How do you feel about this team going forward? Make an intelligent post!!!
We did win though. Give the Jags some credit they really got up for this game, and Chad Henne has substantial experience against the Patriots.
Keep in mind that Mankins and Connolly are still getting healthy and the interior of the Jags defense is big, young and strong.
GReat post Kontra......you are right on here. A healthy Gronk helps the O HUGE!!! Dennard and Talib are needed in that secondary....Dennard is a work in progress but better than some of the backups at this point. I think Dennard could be a top shelf CB for this team, or in the league. The secondary issues, lack of pass rush, and weak OL play need alot of help before the playoffs begin. Not sure that Pats have what it takes this year to make it to the SB.....but will have to see. My point in this whole thread (Unable to see from the true "Rose colored glasses wearing homers"......is that the Jags were going to come out like this was their SB......They had NOTHING to lose and were therefore dangerous. And, they did exactly what I thought they would.....give us a good game. Don't look past them. Brady and alot of the team came out flat. Yeah we had some injuries....that WILL happen on ANY team this time of year. Got to rely on your backups. Business as usual, don't skip a beat etc. We BARELY won today. Alot of alarms going off. Hopefully BB will be able to plug the leaks and keep this team moving strongly into the playoffs. Go PatsToday's main weaknesses to be fixed going into the postseason...
1. Get Gronk healthy.
2. Get Dennard healthy.
3. Get Talib healthy.
4. Fix the interior OL.
You should make an intelligent post. We were missing four starters in their positions - Dennard, Talib, McCourty (at S), and Spikes all out. Hernandez was obviously injured and the Pats O was facing some awesome defense by a team with good pass rush and effective man coverage.
