Why is it if a defender on the opposing team steps up and makes a solid defensive play, the play becomes a bad call from the OC???
Example: The quick throw to Chad Jackson. The safety stepped up and layed the smackdown on CJ. Wow what a great defensive play? Nope, McD stinks and that play should never have been called.
Question: What would have happened if the safety mis-played the throw (human players actually make mistakes and miss tackles) and CJ gets around the saftey? Who is going to stop CJ from the endzone?
Answer: In theory, CJ has an open footrace for the endzone. More likley, CJ uses his speed for a good gain. It is certainly not a bad call by the OC. It is a great play on the ball by a defender.
