So watching the games does what to disprove the stats listed above? By watching the games you saw Hobbs get thrown at less often, more often than those numbers? He let up more TD's than those numbers? He let up a higher completion % than those numbers?
Since you like to rely on "WATCHING" games to judge Hobbs, answer this. What are you comparing him to when you call him mediocre? Are you comparing him to only Samuel or have you watched every game of every team to be able to compare him with the rest of the DB's in the NFL with your EYES and WATCHING?
My guess is you simply watch the patriots and have a fantasy idea of other teams as if no other DB allows a single pass completion or TD. Since stats tell us NOTHING, give me some factual evidence of what you compare Hobbs to to decide he is mediocre.
I'll bet you ignore this post or rip one word/line out of it
He said so himself.

I know you have to have a big ego to play professional sports but that's a little much.
Some of you just can't bring yourself to say nary a critical word about the Pats. It's funny AND silly.
I've watched plenty of other games besides the Pats. Hobbs is a mediocre DB. What do you all think he is? A shut-down corner? How many of THOSE are there in the league - especially will this current-day, o-oriented NFL?
Just watch the game on Sunday and be objective 'bout this.
btw - T.J. Housma-whatever was better than Johnson this year - though certainly not as colorfol. But gee, don't let the hype get in the way of what's real or anything...

Read the article. He didn't compare himself to Jesus. Hobbs said, Why would I get mad? Jesus was persecuted and He didn't get mad, or words to that effect.I'm not bashing the guy...I'm just saying that comparing yourself to Jesus is a little much.
Certainly not.Really now, saying that a Pats DB is mediocre means I'm a bad fan

I didn't read it that way. To me it was a poke at hypercritical people. He's saying that even the only perfect person ever to walk the Earth (depending on one's beliefs) couldn't catch a break.
I have stated a opinion I beleive in. Hobbs is the weak-link. Sorry.
Well, I hope Hobbs didn't mean this. jesus can't cover for crap. wearing sandals? Not a chance
