Do you have any concerns about the conversion of Peppers to a 3-4 OLB?

Absolutely none. Carolina has occasionally dropped him in coverage and while not spectacular, he is functional. He will be fine in run support and should be able to rush the passer.

The key is does Peppers have the first step quickness to explode off the edge ala Ware???

And if he does have it this year, how long until he loses that step, he is not 26 anymore.

I would feel more comfortable with Mathews or Barwin as a pass rusher, but not so if they are asked to run support or cover.
