Just going through some things this afternoon and enabled Google to the "Connected Accounts" option. Previously, it was just Facebook and Twitter, but this one has now been added.
Anyone who has a gmail account listed in your email will now have the option to login here with one click. Hopefully that will streamline the login process a bit and save you a step if you ever get locked out of your account.
All you'll need to do to set up this feature is to go here:
That will allow you to login with one click moving forward:
Privacy-wise, nothing other than your email and image is passed using this method.
However, if at anytime you want to revoke it, you'll see the site listed under the "Security" Option in your Google account:
Scroll down to "PatsFans" and you can remove access anytime here:
You can also disable it here in the "Connected Accounts" area, albeit you'll still want to do the above to complete the process:
