MARONEY AND TAYLOR
No, Maroney isn't Jim Brown. He is simply a back who has gained over 4.5 yards a carry for the games when he has carried 20 times per game. He also is a threat in space. My preference for more reps is Taylor, but it seems that he is not ready to carry 25 times a game.
MORRIS
Morris is not the one to carry the ball 25 times a game. HOWEVER, he is a fine hort yardage running back and our fullback.
FAULK
Faulk is Faulk. He continues to be our 3rd round back as long as he is healthy. Maroney is a candidate for that role next year if Faulk is not physically able.
GREEN-ELLIS
This year Belichick has taken out running back insurance. Green-Ellis will have significant reps if there are two running back injuries and will be active if there is one injury.
BOTTOM LINE
This is a fine set of runners.
