With free agency beginning and with Nate Solder seemingly being picked as a replacement for light.

The question is how much cap room would that leave us to sign FA's and do we have a realistic chance of bagging the big fish e.g Asomogua

So the question is from this years FA class who do you want once the draft dust has settled?

For me i would like Light, but with solder being picked... i have no idea if that will happen.

I'd take Kiwanuka if the money was right

Agree with you all. Let's hope there's someone out there to help the O Line!

Nice. Wouldn't mind seeing us making a play for Cullen Jenkins as well. He's a hugely underrated talent who may go for cheaper than he's worth due to injury concerns. Wouldn't be surprised if GB pay a bit of a premium to keep him though given Johnny Jolly's legal troubles

I read some blurb about GB not really being interested in keeping him.

I don't want to make any predictions about the coming season for obvious reasons, but as of right now it's uncapped, as far as I know.
I was just reading miguel's cap page, and I believe he reports that the owners are pitching a 114m cap, which is about 14m less than previous, while the pats are basically at about 112, but I think could scrounge 5m more if you could part with sanders and kaczur.
basically, though, there shouldn't be cap concerns other than I wouldn't expect some crazy raider offer.

what does everybody think about matt roth?

ps re: asawhatsa
while I'd certainly have no objections to that signing, I think it's unrealistic given his contract expectations --- pats can roll with their current secondary.
