It's easy, and only takes a few moments.well..sometimes things work out in a different place with a different set of players. maybe if he coaches a young teamhe can get his point across as supposed to the egoistic older players in nyc
whether he can build a good staff and create a program like BB remains to be seen

Read the bottom of page one and also page two. Not that it's all true necessarily but it paints a picture of a poor head coach. Was Mangini the real problem in NY?
Mangini is getting his own hand picked buddy, Kokinis from Baltimore.Apparently Cleveland management agrees with my position. If the report is true, that is, which is still a stretch because there is no apparent GM in place yet.
If I were the owner of a team and I had the chance to hire Mangini I would run the other way. It isn't that he is necessarilly a bad coach, it is that he cannot be trusted. In the grand scheme of things, a head coach in the NFL has be demand loyalty. For that to happen he has to be trusted, could anybody on this board really trust Eric Mangini?
Why ask this board?
You should go ask the Jets board. Obviously we took his manuevering as back stabbing but you have to ask the Jets fans if they took it as him being ratty or him trying to whatever he can to hurt a division opponenet thus helping his team.
When Crennel was hired as Cleveland's coach, he wanted Mangini as his defensive coordinator but Mangini decided to take over Crennel's spot with the Patriots instead.
Mangini will hire Jets quarterbacks coach Brian Daboll, whose contract is expiring, as his offensive coordinator, league sources told Smith.
For the position of defensive coordinator, sources told Smith that Mangini will bring aboard Raiders defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, whose contract with Oakland also is up. Also that Mangini and Crennel discussed the possibility of Crennel returning to work with Mangini but decided it best to both go in a different direction.
