Are there any Draft guides on newsstands yet?
What is the Big Book? Is it really good?
Am I missing something? I see the two mags, but don't see where it includes an on-line draft site?I call it the big book vs the magazines. I really like Pro Football Weeklys because it gives a lot of info - not just the positives but the negitives on each player. I started getting them in 1992 and one year I got Kipers instead. Kipers was Ok but I liked PFW better.
You can either order it and it will come in the mail - usually $20 US or Borders books have been carrying them. Last year they had a special. You order the "big book" they send you,the early magazine, and you get their on line draft site all for $24 US.
EDIT: and here it is:http://www.pfwstore.com/detail.aspx?ID=409
I'll be orderng mine today.

Interestingly it says mid March, they may have moved their schedule up this year.Am I missing something? I see the two mags, but don't see where it includes an on-line draft site?

It wasn't a surprise because you told me about itNow I remember- you ordered the package too last year. Was the "on line" thing kind of a surprise when you got the first one (the magazine)?

Last year, Pro Football Weekly or ESPN was on the newstands right about now. Any sign of either in the US?
I bought the Pro Football Weekly guide yesterday and I noticed Lindy's had a draft uide as well.
I expect the Sporting News guide next week, and the espn guide soon.
Gotta love draft season, especially when it comes with an awesome free agency season.
I got the Sporting News NFL Draft Guide yesterday (Sat March 3rd) and the Lindy's one on Thursday March 1st. Didn't see the PFW one yet, but someone here says its out already (I'll pick it up Monday). The Lindy's one seems to have stolen the same exact format as the Sporting News one. The Sporting News one seems to have bulked up a bit, usually around 300+ prospects rated, now up to 425+, a good read. Also Street and Smith's has one. I usually buy all the draft guides that show up on the news stands. I used to get the $20+ Pro Football Weekly book, but seems like all the guides are catching up a little. It's still the best one though.
P.S.-I also ordered 4thandgoals Draft DVD. It is supposed to ship on March 5th, and has video of over 90+ prospects. I know you can find a lot of the videos online, but it's nice to have on a DVD. I usually record the draft on draft day as well. The draft is like a holiday for me, that's why I hate giving up a #2 pick for Welker.
I have looked high and low in this area and can't find the Sporting News Draft Guide.
Has anyone in NE area seen out yet? Borders? Barnes & Noble? Local Supermartket?
