If the Jets and Dolphins don't make moves to bolster thier receiving corps with top notch WRs ,does BB look elsewhere for the #1 pick?
Springs is an old man and Wilhite has been torched often, the team needed some new talent and depth at CB outside of Bodden and Butler and I think the new receivers in the east added to the desire to make the secondary stronger against big time threats like Holmes and Marshall.
We will pick up a pass rusher in the second round and CB in this draft is far less in talent after McCourty, so thats why I think BB took Devin at #1 before he could be scooped up.
Devin might not be on defense immediately, but in a few weeks into the season,he should be involved in situations before too long and as a rookie to help try to control those 2 new WR additions to the division.
I really think if those WR moves were not done by our division enemies, the Pats would have picked a different position at #1 and a lesser known CB Later in the draft.
