I'm sure you have all seen Denver "pick play" at work on a regular basis. Do you think it's legal?

Here is a pretty good article I found

Xs and Os: The Denver Pick Plays | Yardbarker.com

Josh should look to install it into our offense.

Nope it isn't legal unless you are seperated by at least two yards (I believe),

no it won't get called

We've used it for years...

just like everyone else

The NFL TV guys seem to think it's legal. In fact, they were almost outraged that a pick was called against Gronk last week on Bolden's TD. That would have practically ended the game.

Patriots have always been very proficient at running the questionably legal pick play. The call last week was odd because I'm not even sure it was much of a pick play.

FWIW, Pereira wrote this yesterday:

The picks were legal in the DEN touchdown. They weren't more than 1 yard downfield.

It's illegal and cheap as hell

The 'pick play' might be legal, but the hit on Kirk Cousins late in the 4th quarter sure as heII wasn't.

the Denver rusher leads with his helmet and hits Cousins directly in the chinstrap with it.
Official standing right there watching and no flag.

I mean. how can you miss a flagrant foul like that? Especially when the ref's have been mandated to look for head shots (and as we have witnessed this season, call them even when they don't exist)

Anybody have a gif of the Bolden catch vs. the Jets that was called back because of a Gronk pick?

It WAS in Denver. Maybe he was looking at a hot blonde in the front row.
