DeAngelo Hall wants to play for a winner?

He can't be worse than Ellis Hobbs. :p
And I don't think it would cost much to pick him up, heck we gave up a 3rd rounder for Duane Starks, why not Hall who fills a need and insures against if/when Samuel leaves?

I wouldn't give more than a 3rd round pick for him. He is talented, but taking on this problem child is still a risk. If pushed, and convinced that Hall can be rehabilitated (attitude-wise), I'd consider giving up the late 2nd rounder we have, but I'd prefer to spend no more than a 3rd.

Sure he can, Starks was. That's why Ellis replaced him as a rookie and the secondary improved dramatically... Another former pro bowler who just needed a change of scenery, only they don't always just need that. Starks cost us a draft pick and $3.5M. This one would want a whole lot more, and given his track record to date that would not represent value. Remember too, he plays in the minor leagues (NFC) where bad teams stumble into the playoffs because somebody has to.

LOL the NFC indeed is the redheaded step child conference of the NFL.
But individual talent varies.
I'll trust for BB to do the evaluating. If he doesn't trade for Hall, we'll know what he thinks.

I just think the speculation is interesting, considering that CB is going to be a need because of Samuel's greed and could stand to use improvement since I don't think any of us is realistically confident with Hobbs as the #1 corner.
