Here it is in a nutshell pal, and you'll still probably NEVER see it...Rodgers IS a great QB...hell there are a number of great/good quarterbacks in the NFL. There is no quarterback in the NFL that has EVER faced the pressure, the stacked deck, the daily public attacks on his character, the constant wild eyed media assaults and the overwhelming hatred and wishes for failure that Tom Brady has faced. When I see a Rodgers or a Manning or a Wilson perform at a zenith under THIS constant pressure, perhaps I'll listen to your fanboy platitudes.
Until then, child...please.
Excuse me, but was my post a 'rebuttal'? Fanboy platitudes.....being a child....that's you bud.
Point out even ONE instance of Rodgers dealing with anything even remotely close to the avalanche of acrimony aimed at Brady all year. Yes ,YOU are a gaa gaa goony fanboy. I knew you wouldn't see the obvious. Enjoy your QB's career. Fine and dandy. Just STFU about any comparison with Brady and his unique situation. Moron.
Boomer is a New Yorker. Doesn't make him a bad person, just someone who has an allegiance to all things green.A few weeks ago, Cowherd went on a rant about how the NE media members have been embarrassing pompom wavers for Brady and the Patriots and dismissive of the significance of the DG accusations. Of course, when he was on with Dale and Holley during SB week he was at least as dismissive of the DG accusations and suggested the league was on a witch hunt. That's our two faced boy Colin. He speaks out of both sides of his mouth depending upon his audience. In fact, he's nearly as good at it as Boomer Esiason.
Agreed, but he's also an alleged journalist.Boomer is a New Yorker. Doesn't make him a bad person, just someone who has an allegiance to all things green.

Why are you all bending over backwards to point out Rodgers' faults?
Wow. Butch Songin has occupied exactly zero space in my memory from 1961 'til your post. Butch was the Drew Bledsoe to Babe's Brady back in the day. Maybe he started the Border War; he played for the Titans after the Pats.Every rating is relative. IMO Brady is the GOAT. I started with Butch Songin followed by Babe Parilli
It only seems like "bending over backwards" because this is one of the few places in the universe, that the fact that Rodgers even HAS faults is ever mentioned. Ever.
Not really an enigma. The likability for you comes from him liking Brady.
Visit some Packers boards. Fans go crazy when Rodgers hold onto the ball for too long trying to make a big play.
I think they miss Jordy Nelson big time. Are they bending over backwards too? Or is that just us?
By the way, that's far from Rodgers' only fault. In fact, I don't think it's one he struggles with very much. Occasionally, sure, but every QB is guilty of that from time to time.
3 straight relatively pedestrian performances in a row, and he's still considered the MVP front-runner? Hell, right now, I could make a better case for Andy Dalton for MVP.
I think they miss Jordy Nelson big time.
That is a very good parallel.Of course they do, and it's a testament to Rodgers and the Coaching staff that they are still undefeated and looking strong.
Rodgers gets all the deserved credit for that. Absolutely.
Although, it's not like James Jones sucks in that offense.
It's a good parallel to 2010, when the Patriots sent Randy Moss packing, and brought Deion Branch back. They weren't as good on paper, but that offense still managed to move and score points just fine.
