Taking the 3 was a no brainier there. Really horrible coaching decision not too.
Pretty sure this post is a no brainier

And the Broncos had our number on defense.. but whatever.. like BB just said in the press conference.. lets turn the page..
Of course you don't elaborate on thisThey went against the percentages actually.
I agree, I hated the 4th and 1 call with 6 minutes left. People say 'have faith in Brady to get that yard'...how about 'have faith in Brady to put another drive together'? Take the points, the defense (aside from the long Anderson run) had completely shut the Denver offense down in the second half, get the ball back and hope for a TD drive.
The gameplan was not working. At least if they go max protection Brady isn't under duress and might have avoided maybe one of those INTs.
Think you missed the snap they did almost exactly that by adding an additional lineman (Fleming) who immediately gave up a sack.
Hard to second-guess this call or that - like BB not calling a timeout in the SB last year, or Carroll's decision to throw...second-guessing (hindsight) is way too easy.
my problem with the McDaniel's offense really came to its head this year. The team never cared about the run game. Ever. Throwing 50 times and catching a defense by surprise is one thing. Throw 50 times every game is something else.
The Pats OL clearly had little run blocking schemes or work adn so Denver said the hell with it and just ran balls out at Brady all day long. And how were they not even chipping Miller or Ware to help out?
Didn't want to play in Denver...
they needed gronk to chip away at miller or stay back on a few downs to protect brady.

No, it's time for some new offensive linemen.I might be alone here, but I am disppointed with OL coaching by Dave DeGuglielmo. They couldn't run the ball at all and yesterday 5/6 Olinemen couldn't block 3 pass rushers. They didn't get any better as the season progress. Is it time to look for a new OLine coach ?

We were undefeated and winning in Denver during the 4th qtr….
Then we kept throwing instead of running the clock out. A mistake we also made against the Bills earlier in the season.
It came back to bite us again and again. Then Gronks knee got blown up and our whole season turned upside down.
Brady got creamed 23 times because of our gameplan. If your QB is getting molested at that rate, you have got to do something else right if we're not moving down the field. I could see if we were at least moving the ball, you can justify Brady getting destroyed back there. But we weren't and yet we kept on with the same gameplan. Make an adjustment. Go max protect. Have two RBs back there to help with blocking, move him around. We didn't do any of those consistently. That one play is your argument?
I don't have an argument for why there were not more adjustments. I don't think it is as easy as saying we didn't chip and just needed to do that otherwise BB would have made that adjustment very quickly. Quite honestly I hope that someone does a deep post mortem analysis on the game tape from yesterday and explains what was going on there because to me it felt like everyone on the line was getting beat.. inside, outside..
The entire gameplan of the offense seemed to be completely ill-conceived given the competency of our OL which makes all of this even weirder. Either Josh and Bill completely misjudged how effective our OL could be or underestimated how good the Denver pass rush + coverage would be.
The most help we could have given our OL was to have homefield advantage. Denver's edge rushers got off the LOS much quicker and crowd noise was probably a big factor in that.
That's fine but BB didn't see it that way. In hindsight going for 3 made total sense.
