I really liked what I saw from Brandon Deaderick today. He brings more athleticism and speed next to Wilfork then Love.

He was consistently in the backfield and solid against the run.

What do you all think his ceiling is potential wise?

He seems to come on late in the year for some reason. Last year he was injured early ans was on the PUP, but I don't know why it repeated itself this year.

One problem I saw with him (I think it was him), he busted through the line and kept running... right past the ball carrier. He would have gotten a tackle for a loss, but he seemed unaware where the play was and just kept going. He needs to work on his awareness when he busts through the line.

I like that he's moving on up. He's the type of DT that our line is missing. Kyle Love is a solid force but is a poor man's Wilfork. No sense in having the original and a discounted version playing next to each other. Having a guy like Deaderick who plays with more of a mean streak next to Wilfork could be great for our defensive line. That said, Deaderick's development has been really up and down so next week who knows who could be starting.
