So, through 9 weeks....there has been a lot
of bad and ugly football. What are the good parts of our team?

My list:

- Rhamondre Stevenson can still
make plays if holes are there.
- EE has been a good addition.
- Pharoah Brown should be our #3 TE of the future.
- Pop Doiglas is possibly our best offensive weapon right now and out slot receiver of the future.
- Dave Andrews has been solid.
- Onwenu is our best OL-man and hopefully will be resigned.
- I love Keion White and think he will be a factor next year.
- Anfernee Jennings has been around the ball a lot this year.
- Dugger is our best player right now and hopefully will be resigned.
- Jabril Peppers has been solid this year.
- Baringer has been a good punter lately.
- Ryland has been OK. I'd like to see him hit some 50+ figgies tho...
- Schooler has been solid except
for the BS holding call today.
- Gonzalez looks like a steal.
- The Jones secondary gives me hope for next year.
- We will have a high draft slot. Highest since Mayo for sure.
- Our cap space the next 3 seasons is in the top 5.

Nice list.

As of today, in the top 5 of the draft, number 4 iirc...

As of today, got to question why Jack Jones didn't start... And if what he reportedly said after the game is true, I'd bet hes not going to be long for this team... Might see him traded away after that noise...

JC Jackson didn't start either. Apparently it was due to "performance issues."

I think Bentley and Tavai have played well.
Barmore has also stepped up his game.
I have beendisappointed with the inconsistency of Dugger, especially tackling
Peppers has been very good
Sow is making strides and would like to see Sow/Onsenu form the right side of the OL for seasons to come.
I think both the rookie P and PK have been good
the bottom fell out on the secondary yesterday. is it a trend or outlier?

yes, Bentley is underrated... makes a lot of tackles...
yes, far more consistent in his play... not overtly dominant, but i can live with consistent
Dugger is playing well this year i thought...
Yes - One thing I was hoping to see this off-season coming to fruition...
O Line... developing players gotta develop, and agreed, hes headed in the right direction...
Punter yes, Kicker menza menz...
Outlier... hopefully... but they got ripped by a buncha scrubinis, didn't they...

Sow seems to be a lot better than I said he'd be early in the season. Impressed.
Gonzalez is everything I hoped he would be except healthy - hope he comes back strong next year and the defense will be much better for it. If you can impress Tyreek Hill then you're legit.
Douglas looks good.
As said above JCJ is a rental. At least he did a good job against the Bills I wish I could have said that a couple of Januarys ago.
Tavai looks good
Patriots punting game is way better than it was last year as expected
Ryland is coming along but as said above I'd like to see him kick some more 50+ yarders.
The run game was putrid to start the season but it seems to be better lately hope that's a trend.

GREAT thread idea! @Ian perhaps this should receive "sticky" consideration with what we're all enduring this season.

Good list overall. I'll add that Marcus Jones' return is something to look forward to, although that might be covered by your "Jones secondary" item. Also that Sow and Mafi getting reps hopefully will translate to valuable OL depth next season. A lot of young players gaining experience = valuable foundation pieces.

while we each can compile a list of players performing well, or above our expectations, not a single one of them is a top of league player at their position. not a single pro bowl player

not a single pro bowl player

the pro bowl needs to stop being referred to as an accomplishment beyond what it is... a popularity contest

All-Pro is where its at, and always has been

I think Dugger is a pro-bowler this year...but yeah...not many...I'd like to be able to count the # of pro-bowlers we have on two hands...

Speaking of ugly...

The Jonnu Smith resurgence really annoys me...

What does Arthur Smith know that we don't?

AND Nelson Agholor is making a few plays in Baltimore too.....go figure...

I know it's hard with how things are spiraling, but can we please keep this one bright little thread positive? Pretty please?
