Can someone who has read the report shed some light what is this that he is talking about ?
Since most, if not all, of Brady's testimony did not appear in the Wells Report, Nichols asked Yee if there were parts of his testimony in relation to the texts between the two Patriots staffers, John Jastremski and Jim McNally.
"Yes," Yee said. "I mean, there is an example. Without getting into the depth of the testimony, let's go back to the report. The report actually talked about that there were these texts going back and forth between Tom and the equipment manager -- and let me just say the equipment managers are very loyal, very dedicated, they work long hours for very little pay and do a great job. But the report was discussing these exchanges...but the exchanges between Tom and the equipment manager (Jastremski), one of the things they kind of glossed over was the fact that they found those exchanges to be unusual."
"And there's a very human element to this, and that is that the equipment managers largely toil in their jobs in anonymity," Yee continued. "And the next thing they know, the morning after the AFC championship game, there's this giant spotlight on this matter involving their job. And Tom's human. He's very connected and very supportive of all the staff there. And for example, it was pointed out to all the lawyers, 'Look, he's just checking on their status, how they're doing. These people are not used to being the subject of a national spotlight.'"
