Totally forgot about this.
I remember when the stat came up on the drive I grudgingly said "Ah, well I'm going to have to accept that record being broken for the Colts to lose tonight"
Colts lose AND Brady keeps that record. Awesome.

Same here, bro. I actually said, "well, if he has to break it to beat the Colts, then I'm good with that". Still, helluva game by Brees though. He was a surgeon tonight.
I really think that both Qb´s sucked.... only that touchdown pass by Peyton was worthy....everything else was just too modest, way too careful...

Peyton played a HECK of a game until the pick-sex.
Is this a joke? Brees was damn near perfect after the first drive (Colston's drop on the 2nd wasn't his fault)
Peyton played a HECK of a game until the pick-sex. Some of the throws he made under pressure were amazing. And he was on the money all day till that pick.
Let's not get crazy with the Manning love. He basically threw 2 picks in that game (1 was saved by his receiver committing offensive pass interference), and had a 3rd pass that would have been a pick if the throw had been on target (pass to the sidelines where the receiver had jumped the route but the pass was too far up the line).
What were you watching last night
He didn't throw it on target so that it WOULD'T be picked. You're grasping for straws here. He was great up until the pick, you're straight hating if you don't think so. Picture perfect throws off his back foot, every pass was where it needed to be. Look at the #s even with the pick it's still a pretty good game.
After his first 2 drives, and the end of the 1st quarter, he put up a grand total of 7 points. That isn't good by any measure, mch less great.

I'm sorry..... when did the standard method of completing passes to the sideline become throwing incompletions on purpose?
