It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I get where you are coming from about Blount quitting on his teammates in Pitt but I think that the Patriots believe that he will be fine with them or else they would not have resigned him. I really doubt its going to make the Patriots look bad because they signed himBlount can likely help the team sure, but he quit on his teammates in Pitt and I wish the Pats had just left him out to rot. The 'Patriot Way' takes another kick in the mouth. Blount is a bad seed, he had his shot at redemption and pissed it all away. Can't imagine Big Daddy Kraft likes the way this move will sully the Patriot name in the national view.
Excellent!
I'd like to thank the Titans for helping NE to stabilize the LBs after Mayo went down, I'd like to thank the Steeler for helping NE to round out their RB corps after the Ridley injury, and I'd like to thank Jack Daniels for helping NE to improve the DT depth after the Siliga injury.
Now, who's going to volunteer to help the Patriots out at DE?
If this is how you talk to people when you're not angry, I hope no real men show up and piss you off.Haley can be the name of a man or woman. So, by all means, keep spewing your idiocy. It's a laugh riot..
Fact is that you flapped your trapped pretty ridiculously and got called on it. You clearly can't handle it. And now you throw out some chauvenistic crap in a vain attempt to deflect away from the fact that you didn't think through your original post or your follow-up one. .
Yep. Once they put him in practice,he counts as a roster spot.FWIW, Siliga wasn't at practice today.

Even after cutting Walker, if they choose to add Siliga to the active roster they still need to release/IR someone.
4 solid veteran players added at this point in the season is big.
Right. I thought that was understood. He was at practice yesterday. The reason I noted he wasn't there today is that it possibly indicates a setback, or at least that they're going exceptionally slow with him.Not entirely accurate. He can practice for three weeks without counting, it isn't until NE activates him off of IR that they must make an adjacent roster move.
That is how I talk to a person who is acting stupid and idiotic. It has nothing to do with feelings.. But thanks for your 2 cents..If this is how you talk to people when you're not angry, I hope no real men show up and piss you off.
Thats fine but I think teams still do it.
Yep you are right. Not entirely accurate. He can practice for three weeks without counting, it isn't until NE activates him off of IR that they must make an adjacent roster move.
Once a player participates in a practice, it starts the 21-day window to activate that player on the 53-man roster. So, until his activation, the Patriots do not have to make a roster move to make room for Siliga.
Defensive lineman Sealver Siliga was not spotted at practice. Siliga remains on the team’s injured reserve with a designation to return despite participating in the Patriots’ walkthrough practice on Wednesday. Players on the injured reserve can be at walkthroughs, but until Siliga participates in a practice, the 21-day window to activate him on the 53-man roster does not start.
Can't prove it but the circumstances around Jeff Demps were always suspicious..Can you please provide examples?
We can question the legitimacy of the Demps injury...Perhaps, but it is rare. Usually it is something like what NE did with Demps. The injury was legitimate, though probably only a 3-4 week deal with a more necessary player.
Oh I do think its a violation (I stated that before DaBruinz). I just think it's an unwritten understanding that the team has with players. In the end, as long as the player is being paid, their contract is not altered and their league year is accrued, I think some players would be ok with going along with the team's ask for them to go on IR- especially for guys like James White who aren't playing anyway.
Yea thats the thing. I can't prove it. There is the whole Ty Detmer story that may/may not be true.
The advantage is clear- keep players under the team's control so they aren't made available to other teams.
Not trying to blow smoke. The circumstances around the Jeff Demps IR come to mind. What you think and what you can prove are entirely different things. Clearly no one is going to change your mind. And just a point of information. It's been mentioned more than a few times that young players who miss their first year due to IR tend to not develop. This is because, being on the IR, you are limited in what you can do. Article 17.16 (B) specifically states what those players can do. Unless you have specific examples, you seem to be blowing smoke,.
Really, just add me to your ignore list. I have no interest in ever conversing with you. In my opinion you are nothing but a troll on these forums and how you have escaped banning is mystifying. Be well.
How much advantage do you have in keeping a player who cannot participate in anything.
Better off to waive him and put him on the practice squad.
If you are at the point of not wanting him on your team sending him away to hope he comes back better seems counterproductive.
