Right now the top team and the 5th and 6th seeds in each conference are all from the East. And in the case of the NFC the 5 and 6 seeds have better records than 3 and 4. Of course that will likely change but it's still something I don't remember seeing before at this point in a season.
Anyone know why this is happening? Is it because those divisions are stronger or is the rest of the league that much weaker?

Or prognosticators got it wrong as they often do.

You mean like in 2020 when your boy Brady had a better 11 - 5 record than Washington at 7 - 9. Washington had 7 losses in November.

Never saw that before.

They usually get things wrong. I remember seeing a website many moons ago that tracked the picks by the "experts" and it proved them all wrong.

As for the strength of the Easts, I think the NFCE has a huge advantage this year due to their schedule. They all have four games against the AFCS, easily the weakest division in football, though the NFCS is close. In the rankings that I use the four teams in the AFCS are ranked 12, 26, 27 and 32. The NFCS is 16, 18, 20 and 31.

Vegas isn't buying Jets, Giants or Seattle for that matter. Giving Dolphins a shot.

Looking at all those teams, outside KC and BUF I'd think Bucs have as good a shot as any team.

Tampa might be the 5th or 6th best team in the NFC…

I look at all those teams come playoff time and don't trust any of them. Bucs would have been in the AFCCG (or was it SB?) if Bowles didn't call that damn zero blitz.

That would have been one neat trick. How do you suppose they'd manage having 3 teams play in the same game?

Bucs are in the NFC…and that play call was last year. Tampa winning two games in a row by 8 points combined doesn't move the needle for me.

Stop the presses right there.

Ok ok a typo.

I am not 100 percent how tie breakers work but is the chargers do lose the pats will be tied for 7th. And I think they would have it
