"Brady's just a game manager!"
Sounds not much different from the Tebow bashing, to me.
Just the oposite. Tebow truly is a system QB.

I don't think anyone has ever questioned Brady's accuracy as a QB.
Sure they did, although it was about his deep ball accuracy and ability to throw deep at all.
I edited my post to account for the college scouting reports, which proved false on Brady.
So far, not a single scouting report on Tebow from college has proven false. Everything we knew about him has panned out exactly as one would've expected. He still can't throw, but he's still a leader - and effective as a running QB or option QB.
As for Brady and the deep ball - that is one facet of his game that he worked on, and it has improved from when he took over as QB a decade ago.
Tebow's problem is the guy can't hit the simplest of NFL throws, not that he can't throw deep.
I do find, however, that people's bashing of Tebow has tended to expose prejudices on their part.
I can't believe that Brady is the oldest starting QB in the league. Time flies...
I'm afraid I would say it's more accurate that the SUPPORT of Tebow exposes biases on people's part.
If Tebow weren't a devout Christian, and so vocal about it, how big would his fanbase be going into the season, or going into last year's draft? I'll answer it for you - it'd be small.
Because successful college QBs with iffy NFL careers ahead of them are a dime a dozen.
There have been dozens of Tebows. And there'll be a dozen more. He could prove me wrong, and he could have a successful NFL career - but that's moot to my point. His fanbase was massive before he'd even won a game in the NFL.
I doubt there are many people out there who would root against a player b/c he's Christian. The majority of the NFL is Christian, and a huge chunk of them are vocal about it. Tebow just happens to be far more pious about it, and draws way more attention to it. It doesn't help that the media loves the story and tries to milk it for everything it is worth. Yet, there have been plenty of faithful and spiritual athletes before Tebow who have not been nearly as popular - and the cynical part of me thinks Tebow's popularity has other factors involved, but I won't go there for fear of derailing this thread.
Let's see Brady run the option....
You mean the college option?
He has no speed since the knee injury.
