6 point underdogs?

The last time the Pats were underdogs @ home was vs the 2005 Colts by 3 points.
2003 AFCCG Pats were 3 point favs.
2004 divisional they were 2 point favs vs Indy. Though they analysts made it seem like they should be 'dogs... ie "Pats can't stop Indy's passing game"
2006 Pats were 2 1/2 point favs vs Indy.

The spread is currently down to 4 1/2, which to me is kind of surprising. I thought it would be 8+ given to what the Jets spread was and how this is a similar situation for SD. Given the movement of the line, the public is heavily on NE's side though. If TB was playing the line would be NE-7.

we have an inexperienced QB and are playing in SD. they really are a 3-2 team, I cant count that loss to Denver. Obviously, it counts in the standings, but be real. lets talk with our play, not our mouths. who cares about the spread

How dare they have us as 6 point underdogs! We'll show 'em!

Don't you feel foolish?

Denver will open +8 at NE I bet.
