The only reason I love me some OBJ is because i stressed all offseason last year in my keeper league about who to keep.. ended up making an EPIC decision by dropping Calvin Johnson and keeping OBJ... OBJ not only had a way better year, Calvin Johnson just retired.. so i look like a genius lol

oh cool, back when there was actually competition in the "free market" and there were 3 solid gaming companies that released solid NFL football games

Then capitalism took over, and EA Sports bought the exclusive rights to the NFL brand.. so all the other games went out of business, because no one wanted to play a game where they couldnt use the player names, team names, logos, stadium names, etc..

The ESPN NFL series by Sega/Visual Concepts will ALWAYS be my favorite football video game franchise, especially 2K5. That one just solidified it for me. It was about 10 years ahead of Madden visually and so playable for anyone and their dog.

When EA bought the rights to the NFL it pretty much ended any kind of originality to that kind of gaming. It's cookie cutter stuff now.

I didn't see it but if I had to guess I am thinking it was the fake madden cover that had Hernandez holding a gun. I've seen that around the interwebs before.

If I'm right I would say it didn't need to be pulled. But I have no problem with Ian and his team controlling the content on their site. If the poster wants to express his thoughts the internet allows for anyone to open a site of their own and boom free speech.
