Memo to Ishmaa'ily Kitchen and Joe Vellano: Next man up!

True bust? When he could play he was damn good, but he was never able to get past his injuries. So I'd call him a big reach instead of a true bust. To me a true bust is one who doesn't have the talent you projected him to have.
That's what happens when you win your division 13 out of 15 years and 7 straight, you pick from the bottom of the bin.
I'd put LoMo ahead of Easley on the bust list.

Makes me wonder if they had advanced notice that Easley for some unknown reason to us couldn't make the April 18th off season workout program? What ever the reason it must be very serious. Even with his past injury history, it makes no sense to give up on him so soon. Maybe going to be suspended for PED or substance abuse? I am sure that more info will be coming shortly.

Yes, a true bust. We're done here. I'm not dealing with someone who can't accept that a 1st round pick that doesn't even reach year 3 on his deal is not a bust as a pick.

That sort of person is simply insane.

I think Easley is a bigger bust than Maroney. Maroney gave us a solid rookie season and was decent enough in 2007. So he actually did something through two seasons. Easley was solid in the few games he actually played in part of.

Disagree, at least Lomo played, had a good season in 2007 SB season I believe (over 800+ yards). There was some production there. Disappointing and frustrating player for sure, but much better than Easley.

The plaintiff? ;)

And someone who didn't understand that was a possibility at the time the draft was made is more insane.

Yea maybe y'all are right. My initial thought was that LoMo was drafted ahead of Easley so he is in theory the more valuable pick. He also should have produced at a higher level but at the end of the day he did produce more than Easley no question

I'm too irritated and annoyed to think completely rational right now...

Don't double down on your earlier folly. Everyone knew it was a possibility at the time (Hell, I wanted Stephon Tuitt, and made that abundantly clear), and that's completely irrelevant. Easley was the pick. The pick went bust.

If you insist on staying on the crazy train, go ride it with someone else.

No worries, today's surprise has us all on edge.

I didn't see this coming. it must have something to do with off-field issues. does anybody think this has something to do with easley being a Muslim.

I think you think that.
