Chandler Jones' trade value?

I was thinking to dallas, although I should have specified that. Seems like a trade they'd make.

So instead of a high 3rd and 6th, it's a very late 2nd and a guy who couldn't beat out ted larsen, whom we cut, I belive.

Way off. Way off.
A high 3rd and a high 6th is almost identical to a late 2nd on the draft value chart. I'm sure PFS74 is being facetious, but either way, nice job! Very accurate estimate.

Looking around at free agency, Jones would have commanded a high price - and probably would have wanted to test the market

So in terms of a trade you have to factor in that you're getting a good player - perhaps not great - that you'd either have to franchise to keep or let him go to the higher bidder... in reality you're probably looking at him perhaps being a one year rental... so I guess in that respect the Patriots got good value

That being said, I felt he made the D pretty tough and I'd prefer to have him this season than not - but I'm sure not going to quibble with bringing in whoever Scarnecchia wants to help protect Brady

Very bold buddy. Way to stick your neck out there.,,,,
