Same b.tches every year. F.cking phonies, all of them. God I hate quitter "fans."
It's called " entitlementarrehea"

If people don't get what you want- it sucks.

Game plan yesterday was equal to a 4th preseason game with the exception of getting Stephen Jacksons legs in game shape. Zero plays designed for Gronk or Amendola and O=line way too thin. I have a feeling there will be a scheme in place in 2 weeks.

Wait...Ray Clay--you're comparing our current postseason chances/late season fizzle to a year when we ended the season 16-0 on a high which was broadcasted by 3 major television networks? What am I missing here, because clearly I'm not following your thinking.

If anything, one could argue that 2007 was the year when people had the highest hopes and the team was clearly outplaying its competition on both sides of the ball.

Yes, we ended on a high. We lost.

We haven't lost a playoff game this year.
That is ridiculous.

Couldn't have entered on a better winning streak. Did we win?

"Ain't it awful"

"No its God awful".....

What are you talking about.
I said this team looks worse heading into the playoffs than any bb team ever has. You pick the 16-0 team that got to the SB and lost in the flukes you play ever as your counter argument? Are you trying to be obtuse on purpose?
I know you want to bury your head in the sand and think how the team is actually playing means nothing but you are being silly now.

I believe 16 games is the longest streak you could have going in.

There had better be a scheme in place or the fans will be leaving by halftime.

So come the playoff game, we should see the return of (correct me if I'm wrong):

Edelman
Kline
Vollmer
Hightower
Freeny
Jones

McCourty, Amendola should be better from their injuries
Have no idea where Chandler has gone or going....injury or performance

I think getting those players back will be HUGE.

But the question is WHY did we do things this way? Going in with no game plan got Brady injured and hit repeatedly. It lost us HFA. If you are going to give up HFA so easily then put Garropolo in for the whole game and be done with it. It's like the injuries have pschyed out the coaching staff more than the players. I am a Negative Nancy all right. Yesterday I said I was not coming back to this site unless the Pats won their next game, but of course, like the rubbernecker to the train wreck, I cannot look away. I also feel bad about not supporting the team in their hour of need, but come on, that was AWFUL yesterday. An embarrassment that rested nobody (except the guys who already weren't playing) and lost us a lot, including momentum for the playoffs. Brady can stand up there at the podium and say the last 6 weeks haven't mattered, but even he looks like he doesn't believe it. Did you watch all the other teams heading into the playoffs yesterday? They were all playing to win.

For me it's not the injuries - I get it we're limited and the guys out there are not pulling their weight, but the coaching has been atrocious. They have telegraphed that they don't think their team can win as currently constituted and we have to wait for a bunch of injured guys to get back (who by the way, haven't come back yet and will be rusty if and when they do) before we can even THINK (i.e. game plan) about being competitive. What happened to the next man up? What happened to doing the best you can with what you've got? The vibe emanating from this team is BAD. We are BAD and we know it. Putting everything on the shoulders of Edelman and Vollmer is a joke.

Okay, I am trying to get all the negative out in this post and will try to be more positive going forward. It's going to be tough though. I feel bad for Brady and hope his ankle is ok.

These made me laugh so much! :D I kinda needed it after today, so thanks, guys. I love this forum! Seriously though, the Pats will be fine. I truly believe that as long as we have TFB we have a chance every year. Also, IIRC, we just finished our third consecutive season with a 12-4 record, even with all the injuries that took place. How many fan bases can brag about that? We are SO spoiled! Let's keep enjoying this ride, I have the feeling that we are really gonna miss these moments one day. We are on to divisional round!

We're going to miss the first 10 weeks, not the last 7. This was nothing less than a collapse down the stretch. Sure, it was due to injuries and not coaching or skill, but should that really make it hurt any less?

Also, this is our fourth 12-4 in a row. This is probably our least impressive 12-4 of those. 2012 was up and down, 2013 was a major overachievement, and 2014 we got stronger over time.

We didn't go 12-4 with the injuries. We went 2-4.

BB had two conflicting goals: 1) limit the number of new injuries and rest players already injured: 2) win the game to secure HFA. He tried to achieve both.

Brady played because BB was trying to achieve number 2. Jones, HT, Edelman and others didn't play because he was trying to achieve number 1. Assuming Brady's ankle is a minor sprain, I think he pretty much achieved the first goal. He didn't achieve the second.

And in two weeks, the Patriots are going to dress the best 46, with the exception of Solder, Easley and Lewis. They should be reasonably healthy. There is no team a healthy Patriots team can't beat.

Kline played yesterday and he wasn't that good.

You think today is bad. You'll all be out of your minds when the team scores zero points next week.

I still remember you telling people to calm down that the Patriots could still get their act together and have a good season after the KC loss list year only to get shredded by the crybaby b.tches who think any loss is good reason to quit on the Patriots. Then, when it turned out you were right on the money they all came rushing back to claim they knew it all along and act like they never had any doubt that the Patriots would win it all. Oh how I wish Ian would unlock the threads from the week of "we're on to Cincinnati" so I could call up all the posts by the quitters in this forum. Bunch of f.cking crybaby b.tches, none of them deserve this team.

Go ahead quit b.tches, you always do.

I'm a little tired of the "Positive Pattys" myself. The team played like total 5h!t. Why can't anyone say that?. Does that mean they won't play better? Does that mean they will win the SB. No. it means they played like dog 5hit today. Get your head out of the sand. It's ok to say they played like 5h!t. Drop the koolaid and step away from the computer. They are still in it, but they lost HFA. That's a fact.

There's a big difference between critic's and quitters, this place is filled with the latter. You won't find anyone who would claim they played well the last few weeks but they aren't lining up to jump off a bridge because they only got a bye. I agree with anyone who is concerned about the OL and after yesterday their pass defense , there is plenty to be critical of without losing sight of the bigger picture, which is that they are one of two AFC teams with a week off, they are getting a bunch of really good players back, and they could be well send up playing the AFCCG at home. Will they win it all, I have no idea, but I wouldn't quit on them or bet against them.

I have no problem with critic's but I f.cking hate quitters and crybabies and there far too many of the latter here.

Let's unlock the threads from the week after the KC game last year and compare it to those quitting on them now, the similarities will be extensive. Same quitters different year.

Most people (including, ususally, Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels), if they are trying to win an NFL game, come up with a game plan other than run it up the middle and put our star QB in there and hope he can do something.

The only good thing about yesterday's loss is the criticism and doubt Brady will face because every time that happens Brady responds with a vengeance, and that's what I'm betting on.

I agree, they played like sh!t yesterday, but they still have a bye and a good chance at hosting the AFCCG.

I get it now. You thought I said this team looks the best going in to the playoffs of any BB team, and were arguing against that. No I said they look the worst, yes worse than the undefeated team.

You get 2 weeks to ***** and moan about how this team is one and done and IF they win the divisional, then they are certainly done in Denver. Why bother to follow this team if all you do is complain. Guess what, they are still, worse case scenario, the 2nd seed, pretty damn impressive...many of you don't realize how good you have it...

There's a very big difference between being frustrated at the rather critical flaws in the team which cause the team to lose games they probably would have won and not liking the team. The frustration only exists because they care.
