Ever, or a year ago?
I don't recall the exact quote, but it was pretty clear that Rice would never be a Patriot under his watch.

How do you know it was an isolated incident?Well said. Rice has gone above and beyond in regards to trying to make up for his mistake. He's done a ton to help raise awareness for domestic violence... Further, although what he did was very wrong, it was at least an isolated incident that he's doing everything in his power to get past. I don't think that's lost on BB.
As far as the "circus" element is concerned, it's been a circus here since last January anyway, so what difference is it really?

Id honestly forgotten about Cadet but he seems the most likely for the pats to signsay no to Ray Rice
Cadet, though... sure
its just because he was here before and in my mind it would be solely for depthI don't understand this love for Cadet.
James White and Danny Amendola can replace what Lewis was producing on the passing game, what remains to be seen is if James White can at least get more rushing yards than Vereen (not too difficult);
If we are going to sign any RB, hopefully it is Terrence West. Not that he has been any good this year.
But he was a 3rd round pick in 2014, and was playing well at one point last season til the Browns decided Crowell was their #1.
And he certainly had no chance to prove himself in that mess of a backfield that is Tennessee.
Time to bring Ray Rice in for a look. I'm sure Kraft would oppose it, but we know he'll back down.
Even before he committed career hara-kiri in that elevator, his play was already in a tailspin. His last season, he barely averaged 3 YPG. Rushing and passing yards, att's, long, were all career lows by a good margin.

No question Rice has seemingly done the right things to somehow atone for a horrible act.
I made the statement earlier that I can't support the team bringing him on and cheering for him. As a husband and father of three girls, I just can't do it. My girls know who Ray Rice is and what hes done. I'm not trying to hold myself to a higher standard than everyone else but I just can publicly support him being here or root for him on this team.
If the org, BB and the players are ok with it and he kicks ass here, good for them and good for us who want to team to do well. I don't hold the team to a high moral standard as that's not really the reason I root for them in the first place and I'm not going to pick and choose what morals are convenient to overlook that help the team win.
