Wassup, Mg. No doubt the O would benefit from someone who can do what you mentioned. I would never argue against it. I guess my point, more-or-less, is that the O can survive without a legit one. We won the SB with what we had last year, and it's not vastly different this year. In fact, this O can be even better with health and development. Can Dobson be that guy? That remains to be seen.This is true.
However, against some teams, in some situations, we will need to extend the field. It is very, very useful to have a downfield receiver who can sometimes rate a double team, or at least the other team's corner.
The alternative is that the field is much smaller, with one of the safeties cheating up towards the line.
But your overall point is correct. This O could definitely be even more explosive and unstoppable.
