Belichick needs to visit Brady's haberdasher.

Bill belichick and coaching staff went BRAIN DEAD and BB hopefully learned that anytime you are not past the 40 in your OPPONENTS territory KICK the f'ing ball....ok.....next question

QUOTE="VectorPrime, post: 4344792, member: 21434"]Yes we won. Thank god. But when you are up 37-13 in the 4th quarter the game should effectively be over. It should be a layup. But we got too damn cute on a 4th and 1 and a strip sack later and suddenly its a one score game. So the offense really screwed up but how did the defense, which had been dominant up to that point, give up 2 quick touchdowns?

We had the Bills embarrassed, but now they can take some moral victories away from this. I don't like it.
Was that the same game where it was a one-score game with over a minute to go and the opposition had the ball?

Tyrod Taylor, 80 yards, no timeouts.

Golly gee, was I ever terrified.

(That drive lasted all of one play, btw)

Patriots never trailed after taking the lead in the 2nd quarter. Never really close to trailing. Sky's not falling, that was a blowout, and Buffalo's a joke.

Sane strategy on fourth down. If the Pats treat fourth down like the other team is capable of playing football, and not like a 12 year old playing Madden, they'll be fine.
Even if that was on an old Madden game John Madden would've commented "what the **** was that?"

I admit I didn't think there was any way the pats were putting 40 up against this team. The D is getting sacks, fumbles (which unfortunately kept getting recovered by the Bills) and interceptions yet it does not really show up on the scoreboard.

Anyway, offense was great, Ghost was HUGE and the pats did enough to win. Defense is still concern though.

Maybe they can hang a banner for "moral victory against NE."

This is why he was hated in Philly.

Yea there is too much Ricky Reynolds in him...

Yikes looks like bill pulled the old f the shower and shave I'm just throwing on my suit....

Can you at least admit that the game could've been better-managed by the coaches in the 4th quarter?

Blame the GM for signing him and no one better!
It is what it is.

Yeah, as bad as the playcalling was up to that point, they were smart at the end there. Belichick knew that giving Taylor the ball with 80 yards to go, down 8, 90 seconds left was a winning proposition.

Amen he blows. Two long pass interference calls in the two games and got burned by Watkins.

I didn't love the call on that 4th and 1, but I was fine with them going for it. It was half a yard, sneak it.

Other than that? Not really, tbh. I'd rather see Bradley Fletcher not suck, but that is what it is.

The second corner position needs to be addressed.

Why does Terrell Brown even line up so close to the line if the receiver is going to get a free release anyway? He lines up in bump and run, but he doesn't bump the receiver? Butler is the only one who seems to be somewhat consistent out there. Brown is up and down. Fletcher sucks. And Ryan mostly sucks.

Very well said....thank gawd we don't have Andy Reid or Norv Turner pulling this sh!t every week....but damn a lot of times BB and his staff go full lobotomy mode and give us fans the heart attack games....like you say TYPICAL Bill Belichick era Pats games....rarely blowing out teams (except for 07'.....always comes down to the wire despite being up 4 scores!!!! Unreal....QUOTE="Concussion Protocol, post: 4344872, member: 35583"]LOL, classic Patriots. More stressful when they're up by 20 than down by 20. The Pats looked damn tired on D. Slow in pursuit, lazy arm tackling. It was just bad football down the stretch, but a road win against a good divisional opponent is gold.
First series- All Bills

Rest of the game into the 4th Qtr- All Patriots

4th Qtr- Bills came alive while Patriots snoozed and cruised

Close score but game wasn't as close as the score......

Glad to see the rookies on the OL getting good experience....

Will be nice to see Stork back at center ..maybe Andrews can slide over to Guard and use Kline/Wendell as backups....
