Gonna make one hell of a law and order svu ep when all said and done.

Manning for the role of goodell please

Here's the stupidest thing I saw on ESPN and of course it came from Lester Munson. Linda Cohn pointed out that both Brady and Goodell would have to get on the stand and testify next week and asked, who would want that less. Munson said neither would want it more, that they both equally were afraid of testifying. What BS.

Tom Brady has already testified under oath; we know what his testimony will be. He has been crossed by the independent investigators. Goodell has not been put under oath and has been lying his ass off. Kessler will eat him alive.

If it's true that Commissioner Scheisskopf would have to testify, then this thing settles before next Wednesday. There's no way the NFL lawyers will let that amoeba be questioned by Judge Berman in open court.

Perhaps Keller could bring in a few balls of various PSI (11.5, 12.5, 13) to show just how ridiculous this whole thing is. If Berman can detect no difference in the balls one would assume that there would not have been a nefarious plot to tamper with something that ultimately makes no difference.

This plus reports about Brady looking stoic throughout the proceedings (after meeting privately with the judge) has me pretty concerned. I hated this venue from day 1.
the take on tbs demeanor among the media here is that he is in a "take no prisoners" mood

It's now more clear than ever in reading the judges questions/comments -- especially his questions/comments to the NFL (along with the NFL's response), that this case is 90% about Goodell's ability to make a decision in any way he wants.
So if the Judge decides Goodell has arbitrary powers to what he did in defamegate then case over. Everything levied against Brady or a significant part of is in force. Brady starts serving it immediately.

Did you notice how The NFL lawyers multiple times said, basically, Goodell can decide it any way he wants....but the questions from the Judge showed the Judge skeptical of Wells/Goodell's findings?? te NFL is relying on the judge being forced to disregard his obvious skepticism.

Now if this Judge says 'No Framegate can't be decided any way Goodell wants to decide it' then the NFL case has fallen apart. IMHO the judge asking about Jan 17 game evidence and the NFL talking about evidence having nothing to do with Jan 17th then saying Brady must have had 'guilty' stuff on his phone, this makes it clear the NFL case is almost entirely dependent on a Judge not looking at evidence and deciding Goodell has the power to decide defamegate any way he wants (the NFL doesn't care if the judge thinks Goodell's decisions were fair - their argument is we get to decide just about everything).

Where's that quote that Berman said Wells was independent using the air quotes?
