Not a bad idea. I'll sign on. I'm in AZ so a Boston based petition probably would we work better. I'll forward and pass it along if it is decided to be done.

You must focus on seeking an answer on why the NFL did this knowing it would affect the most bet on sporting event in the United States and that we must be vigilant now that legalized gambling is allowed in the Commonwealth. This provides the plausible justification for the AG to ask for an answer. If someone in the NFL bet a million on the Seahawks at the beginning of the year, does the NFL's actions now make sense? The AG must find out why this was done. It was done in Massachusetts and is under her watch. If she does this she has my support for life.

Does irsay bet on football?

It only takes a minute to email the AG to ask her to ask. It happened here in Massachusetts.

Florio goes where there is a story. Right now there is more click bait going after Goodell and the Wells Report then there is rehashing old Deflategate news.

I'm wrestling with the idea of click bait vs actually at a breaking point as a lawyer. He has more to lose poking the NFL bear than he does pissing off the Patriots I think. Questioning the bullying Wells report now? I dunno. That's a little more than click bait territory IMO.

Florio is a shameless opportunist, but I will give him credit that he was attacking the Wells Report and the League on this before almost anyone else and it was in fashion to do so. He was the first (or one of the first) to talk about how the science of the Wells Report supports the ideal gas law if you use the gauge that Walt Anderson remembers using.

And if we assume he used the other gauge....

Well, that one was a third of a pound off, so I suppose the deflator snuck off to the bathroom to uniformly let a third of a pound of air out of a dozen balls in 80 seconds prior to a game where they'll lose more than a pound naturally.

Or, I guess he might've been peeing, but that sounds crazy

I wonder if articles like this might scare goodell into dropping the suspension completely

If more national media start questioning the true motives of the NFL in this mess, goody might start to worry about what could come out in a court of law

It might be time for rog to cut bait with the suspension and settle on just stealing the draft picks

Yes Florio has Slammed us in past but one thing I will say is that he never changed his stand on this issue. He's called out NFL* & Goodell to show proof instead he maintained his stance on stalling process and many holes in Well's Report.

Dr Pain's letter has me rethinking the whole genesis of this mess. I was firmly aboard the NYFL Pats takedown bus but now I'm toying with the idea that larger, more sinister forces are at work. Consider, if you will, the number of truly bizarre game-changing calls of late and imagine how much gambling money has swung on those calls. If the dark side of gambling found a catspaw in the grievance harboring NYFL HQ staff there is ample reason to suspect that nobbling the Pats for the Superbowl would have found very fertile ground. Besides the personal satisfaction of wrecking a hated foe there might have been more than a little profit in it. I now believe that the NYFL is corrupt beyond the petty personal stuff; it may be riddled with hirlings of the mob.

Florio cares about one thing, how many people visit his site... so once and a while he posts something that is pro patriot to keep some of us interested, tomorrow probably a different story..

Yeah. These kinds of articles are of course satisfying for us to read, and it's natural to feel encouraged. But the only way this kind of stuff will make a difference is if there is a sustained chorus saying the same thing. It's got to be consistent, and become a consensus. Have to reach a tipping point. Not there yet, nor very close.

It's not impossible, though.

Maybe I'm being paranoid but this thought did cross my mind when I saw the story about the Jets game and the footballs being 16 PSI.

Was that an accident as a result of game officials not caring a whit about air in a football? OR were they pumped up that way on purpose as a result of someone deliberately attempting to impact Brady throwing the football.

I also wonder if Wells started to dig at that and other things but was told to back off.
