It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Your scenario would!Posts coming in fast so sorry if this has already been said. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a strategy play by Goodell. He listens to the appeal and based on "new scientific testimony" and other factors, completely exonerates Brady and the Pats. "Hey Bob, buddy, pal. Look what I did? I thought y'all were innocent all along. It was the other guys, Troy and Ted."
Nothing would surprise me at this point.
In my opinion, no one should be looking at any of this with the hope that either media opinion or public opinion will be changed regardless of the final outcome. Everyone's minds are made up forever. Verdict: guilty, no matter what happens going forward.

Goodell had a right to pick himself. But if Brady sues, he'll argue Goodell was too comprised in this controversy to fairly apply NFL rules.
If Brady doesn't have it wiped out or brought to a joke fine, he goes to court, says that Goodell was not neutral and gets a judge to require a neutral arbitrator. He can sue on top of this but this is how the appeal process works.Yeah, I am no lawyer, but this move seems to all but guarantee Brady will lose his appeal, but strengthen any legal case against the League.

BTW, this is a way for Goodell to get out of this, at least in regards to Brady, in case people are missing it:
Overturn all 4 games of suspension
Fine Brady for his so-called lack of cooperation
The question is whether or not Goodell will take that lifeline.
Yes.So exactly what does this mean? I mean do they actually have to go through appeal process with goddell before anything else can be done? Or can they still fight now for someone else to hear the appeal?
If I am Tom I agree to this and pay my fine but I have one condition: a public Mpology.BTW, this is a way for Goodell to get out of this, at least in regards to Brady, in case people are missing it:

That'll hurt him in the public opinion arena, will never happen. And as you've said, he's a true believer - thinks he's right and will fight to the end without thinking of the long term consequences. I still think that he thinks he's made of Teflon.

It is also possible that Brady could seek review by the National Labor Relations Board or a federal court to review how the NFL resolves his appeal. Adrian Peterson, with assistance by the NFLPA, pursued this tactic for purposes of being reinstated and it worked. Brady would likely cite two federal laws, the Labor Management Relations Act and the Federal Arbitration Act, and demand that the suspension be vacated. Brady would claim the suspension violates basic notions of fundamental fairness and consistency. Brady would raise specific points referenced above, including that there is no precedent for a player facing a four-game suspension for the type of infractions at issue. If Goodell selects a former NFL employee to preside over Brady’s appeal—as Goodell did with Peterson’s appeal—it would help Brady argue that he did not receive a fair shake.
