OT: Matt Patricia Now Calling Plays For Eagles D. EDIT(Now Out Of Contract, Will Move On)

He wasn’t close to 100% all week or on game day
The episode on the sideline suggests the real answer was he was on that day where JC Jackson was on Sunday, but his agent chose not to tell the world.
I've thought about that but that's a pretty heavy accusation.

I've thought about that but that's a pretty heavy accusation.
I’ve always felt, and all of the stories we have heard back it up, that Butker not being dialed in caused them to drop him to cb3 in a game plan where cb3 was not going to play much at all, and he found out on game day, and his reaction caused them to decide he shouldn’t play at all.

The Eagles should win out.

Last 4 regular season games - Seahawks, Giants, Cardinals, Giants.
Shoulda woulda coulda. That's why they play the games.

Seattle with a QB nobody heard of had a sh!tload of 1st downs on 3rd and longs. A Fatricia staple while he was here.

Butler said he wasn't ready. He was sick.
Whatever the reason Butler has never complained. That tells me that it was something real. But it still doesn't explain why, when the game was going in the direction it did, that Bill didn't put him in there.

At this point, we have lost our best wide receiver, two or three of our best offensive linemen, our best running back, and have had our next two best wr's in and out of games all season. It is kind of hard to game plan when you are missing all your best players. It goes back to the high school team, happily for some of you, you can blame Bill B for the players, but we were pretty thin with high level talent to start with, and it has gotten much worse on both sides of the ball.
Who picked all those players who were making mistakes that made Fat Matt look bad?

Lol at Patricia blowing a lead against Drew ****ing Luck.
That's right, it was Drew Lock. I had forgotten who it was.

The sickest thing of all is that our last two QBs aren't even in the top 40 in this league.

Matt doing what he does best, can’t stop backup QB’s and allowing the opposition to march downfield.

Amazing how some posters can’t see the correlation as to why he was “good” in NE as opposed to Detroit. By the way, his defenses got worse in Detroit. That shouldn’t happen if you’re a so called “guru”. Ditto with McDaniels. They both immediately looked like they forgot how to call an offense and defense after leaving their Daddy Bill.
Bill's "coaching tree" consists of mostly rotten fruit. And his methods are a half century old.

And this is the perfect reason for NOT playing him.

When he was DC here, Brady was 75-17, Brady won the division every year, Brady was 11-4 in the post season, Brady went to 3 SB in 6 years and won 2 of them. Fat Matt lost the other one.
Fixed it for you.

They did a good job last night.

They limited them to 13 points until the final seconds when their CB clearly crapped the bed.
Game is 60 minutes.

There is no way to defend a 35 yard throw to the boundary in the end zone. Doubling the player is going to take away the inside, so when the ball goes outside, the CB must be there to knock it away. Easy. Even Bradberry knew he screwed up.

The strategy was also the right strategy because time was running out, 22 seconds, they were on the 35, and a field goal doesn't help them. They need a TD.
Sure there is, you put defenders deep to defend the obvious deep pass. CB was on an island.

First round exit for the Eagles.

Eagles just ****canned their OC too.
