Even a one-game suspension would be incomprehensible to me.

This could be a blessing in disguise, such an over-the-top punishment (hell, even one game is too many) will hopefully FORCE the Patriots to fully fight back.

No.. but it is not up to me.. my point is suspensions that are from infractions felt to compromise the game (ON THE FIELD)are always worse ... and my personal opinion is ANY player in this league that is even suspended for one game is an injustice considering Ray Lewis..

This is how I feel. The Patriots, and most importantly Brady, need to lay all the cards out on the table. They should commission separate scientific studies at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Cal Tech, etc all examining the ball pressure. Brady should publicly release every txt message he ever sent to those ball boys. Have the phone company swear under oath that nothing was omitted. Hire a forensic team to watch thousands of hours of surveillance footage from 8 different stadiums covering every second that the ball boys had the balls.

DO EVERYTHING. Leave NO stone unturned. That is the ONLY way he will be able to possibly come out of this clean. Because right now he is f**ked. What is there to lose? Declare open PR war against the NFL and Ted Wells. Being diplomatic at this point is useless because the NFL is not playing by those rules. They've been playing dirty and now it's time for us to play dirty. Brady and Giselle are worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Even if it costs them 10 million isn't that worth saving Tom's reputation and legacy? Not to mention all the money he's now going to lose anyway because of all this.

Didn't Kraft write in his letter he would deal with the league's actions accordingly or something? Maybe I had a different interptation than others.

I would not be surprised by that length of suspension nor would I be surprised by none.

CBS Sports is also saying they think it'll be 6 games.

To put in perspective, a six game suspension is equivalent to a $6 MM fine. Seems putative for such a minor infraction. Kinda like 30 years in prison at hard labor for going 1 mph over the speed limit

The Pats should just shut up... let it play out and then react.. the media is,looking for any way to incriminate ANYBODY... it's all a gotcha game..

Whether it's just or not, I think a four- to six-game suspension is in the offering for Brady. Four games is the likely outcome. There are a lot of Patriot haters in the land, and a bone needs to be thrown to them.

BTW, wouldn't it be funny if we had a great record in Brady's absence.

I'm sorry, folks, but it's coming today or tomorrow. There's not enough evidence to crucify them, but enough to punish.

Perhaps Incacerated Bob ... a punishment veteran might know.

Suspending Brady just helps with any potential lawsuit, IMO.

If anything it strengthens any case he has against Goodell & his Jets old boys club.

It's not a question of our record in his absence. I think people are more upset about the fact that Brady's legacy will be tarnished for something that actually doesn't matter. Bedard (?) compared it to running a stop sign, which is a good analogy.

I believe Brady's legal team will be bringing up how in past cases of tampering there was a fine, loss of draft pick and a swap of draft picks but when the jests Woody Johnson text book tampered during a press conference they only were punished with a $100k fine.

Could you please tell the court why those other cases had a certain punishment and but an organization that you and VP of Game Operations Mike Kensil worked for only were fined $100k
