I remember last year there was supposed to be a massive storm. It ended up being really dry IIRC.

I don't even have rain pants. in fact, I didn't know they existed. tailgaiting is gonna be miserable lol

U can get rain gear at any sports store; sports authority modell's etc.
I remember last year's colts game. Without a canopy we'd never b able to tailgate. Once inside stadium though, it wasn't bad at all

interesting. I know we'll have a tent thing for the tailgate, so maybe it'll be alright

They said could be steady rain during game especially showers...so you will need some type of rain gear. Poncho at the very least..I have my rain gear for golf that works perfect with the pants and jacket

It's Wednesday night...it's southern NE...NO ONE knows what the weather is going to be, especially the braindead weather morons around here. They could have Doppler 10billion and they'd still fail to predict a sunrise.

Yo bro,

That's kind of harsh. You got some unresolved weather equipment issues you need to work out?

Ps: Mississippi state has an online meteorology degree you can earn if that helps you work through this equipment affliction.

For the colts game? During game wasn't that bad...tailgating was a monsoon

I've spent decades out on local waters, Block Island Sound e.g. I can look to the southwest down Long Island Sound and tell anyone what the weather will be far more accurately than Tony "The Weasel" Petrarca. Harsh? That doesn't even BEGIN to describe the contempt I have for these charlatans.

Looks like the forecast is warming up. Now a high of 44 and low of 38 with periods of rain. So there goes the snow (if this holds up, of course).

The forecasts I am seeing call for rain late, after between 6-9pm. And its still 4 days away, so it could easily shift 6-12 hours in either direction. 3-5 day weather predictions are always a crapshoot.

Anyway, I included all of the above so i could say this: I don't care. I don't care if it's a goddamn tsunami-hurricane. I am so excited. There could be a 100% chance of sharknadoes and I would still be in my seat.

While I really do feel for the problems that the weather creates for the tailgating of those of you who are lucky enough to have tickets to the game , I am curious as to whether anyone has any information on how Luck performs in the rain. He used to play games in the Pacific Northwest, so he can't be a total stranger to it.

We know that Brady will be his usual, consistent self, but Luck is prone to bad mistakes along with great moments. Does he have any history in bad weather with which anyone is familiar?

The rain inevitably hampers the pass game for both sides. And if it goes down to the run game, we match up incredibly well against them. They have a terrible run defense, and Boom Herron cannot carry a team (the Denver game was his first of the year with more than 12 carries, and he only averaged 2.7 per carry)

Agree, but I think Brady will have the advantage because of his experience and consistency; bad conditions could magnify Luck's proclivity to make big mistakes. Plus, Brady is familiar with the Foxboro turf in all conditions, which should give him and his receivers an advantage over a team that plays all eight of its home games and at least one Away division game (Houston) in a dome (this year, it played 10 games in domes, whereas, by my count, the Pats only played two Dome games all season).

I don't want to put too many of our eggs in the run-game basket because it has been generally unreliable, except for the Indy game, which is a good omen.

If only the AFC Championship was being played on the 21st. Damn, so close.

Yea, the report has been getting steadily worse and not better.
