Inactives are out for the Patriots

Surprised by Gray but I've felt this was a similar game plan to the Lions' top ranked run defense. I see 45+ pass attempts barring a huge lead relatively early.

Against the Lions' Brady threw 53 times for 350 and we had 20 rushing attempts for 90 yards.

Ravens defense is pretty similar with more talented edge rushers and probably inferior cover personnel. Plays very well into the quick passing games hands in theory.

Today is an Vereen running out of the gun or more of a Blount being patient to find the hole type of game anyway. You do not want to hit the Ravens' d-line fast and hard like Gray runs. You want to take advantage of the Ravens' aggressiveness and find the holes created by it.

No Gray, no Fleming, no Maneri.

I guess BB is not focusing on bashing the bully but, hopefully to tire it and outsmart it.

The bottom 25% of the roster are fairly interchangeable... but if the Pats lose the mediots will be talking about how Gray, Fleming or Boyce would have made a difference..

No mention of Brandon Bolden.. he just signed for two more years..

I'm actually disappointed Jonas is out today...I will have faith in Vereen and Blount instead. Apparently, Jonas is a bit banged up and would love to see him in the next game....assuming there is a next game (which there will be because F*&K THE RAVENS!!!)

They're saving him in anticipation for the Colts coming to town. :D

Wow that a pretty big shock to me. We are left with only 2 true RB active...

Of course, Bolden is backing up both of them.

I don't see where a gimped Gray is any better than a healthier Bolden.

Kline didn't look very good. Prayers for Connolly's health in this one.

Also Please don't let Vereen dominate the carries, run Blount out of those passing formations as well as Vereen.

gray and Fleming out? another game with not a single respect for the clock

The choice of RBs is surely also based in part on pass blocking.

One concern -- what happens on plays where a jumbo set is really needed. But there are 3 TEs and Develin active, so it's a solvable problem. Also, Reiss' off-the-wall prediction was that Solder would catch a TD pass.

Kline, Cannon, Hooman, Devlin, plenty of options for heavy running sets if its needed.

you punch a team in the mouth w a running game rather than a passing game usually...which why i dont like jonas and fleming being out, i think we could do similar against BAL as we did against colts, and really show them up

guess well be a bit craftier than i had liked

Where's the GDT? Is the forum down...?!

Judging from that first drive, the entire defense is inactive
